Mr. Aznar was the prime minister of Spain from 1996 to 2004. His policies and leadership were responsible for a period of record economic growth in Spain. He also helped lead Europe’s efforts to deal with international and domestic terrorism. Mr. Aznar is a director of News Corporation and member of the Club of Madrid.
