When the American media is looking for seasoned insights into the politics and the history of U.S. general elections, they turn to journalist Michael Barone. During his thirty-year career as a news reporter and columnist, Michael Barone has held a number of important jobs in the U.S. media. He has been a senior writer with U.S. News and World Report and Reader’s Digest. He also served as member of the editorial board of The Washington Post. He is the author of a number of books on U.S. politics, including the highly influential Almanac of American Politics. Mr. Barone appears regularly in the American media and is a Resident Fellow at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington D.C.
