Christopher Hitchens

Christopher Hitchens is perhaps the most brilliant and controversial political commentator and essayist in America today. A prolific writer, he is the author of more than ten books including, A Long Short War: The Postponed Liberation of Iraq, Why Orwell Matters, The Trial of Henry Kissinger, and Letters to a Young Contrarian. His latest critique of organized religion, God is not Great (2007), quickly became a best seller. He is a contributing editor to Vanity Fair, and writes regularly for Harper’s, Slate, The New York Times, and The Washington Post.
